Walmart Store Guide

Walmart is unmatched with its liberal coupon policy. They allow you to use overage (when the coupon value exceeds the item price) from coupons toward the rest of your purchase. They also price match with any store ad.

Walmart accepts internet coupons.

Walmart also accepts competitor’s coupons! Check out the coupon policy for more details on that.

Walmart has very cheap regular prices on groceries, making it easy to gain huge savings when using coupons.

Walmart also matches prices, click here for more info on that!

Walmart does not have any rewards programs and their credit card offers no discount at all.

Walmart is a great place to bring those high value “no size restrictions” coupons due to their huge travel sized section. You can often score overage to be used toward the rest of your purchase!

Something to note from their coupon policy:
“The system will prompt for supervisor verification for:
40 coupons per transaction.
A coupon of $20 or greater on one item.
$50 or more in coupons in one transaction.”

So be ready for trouble if you are using a lot of coupons.

Overall, Walmart is a great store to start out using coupons at because they have no store coupons, no cash back offers and a cut and dry coupon policy. It’s easy for beginners to get confused with Extra Bucks, Register Reward rolling and all of that. With Wal Mart, just combine coupons with their low prices to save a ton.
