Ok, so a busted transaction today led me to the Rite Aid coupon policy.
I was told I could not use a $1/1 coupon and a BOGO free coupon on 2 items. I tried to explain that I had 2 items and 2 coupons, but she wasn't having it. I bowed out, as a fight is not worth it to me. When I looked for clarification on Rite Aid's website, I found this, and was even more confused:
"Buy One, Get One Free
Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased."
Ok, that's pretty clear, I was wrong. But then I read the very next line!
"A customer can use one “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item."
Am I crazy, or do those two sentences just completely contradict themselves?
What do you think it means?
