Safeway Gas Rewards Now Redeemable at Participating Chevron & Texaco Stations!

If you're not familiar with the Safeway gas rewards program, you should be! If you're a Safeway shopper, you could be saving money every time you fill up! With the Safeway gas rewards program, you earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on groceries and pharmacy items and 2 points for every $1 you spend on select gift cards! Since you're shopping at Safeway already, these points add up to additional savings really quickly! I love filling up at the pump and saving $0.20, $0.30 or more per gallon! You can rack up savings of up to $1 off per gallon! Imagine filling up at $2.50/gallon! We usually spend around $50/week at Safeway, so in a given month we accumulate about $0.40-$0.50 per gallon savings! Plus, we're shopping the sales and using coupons, so the gas rewards are just a bonus!

I know for me personally, this is great news because I prefer to get my gas from Chevron as it is! Now I can save money on every gallon I pump just because I use Safeway gas rewards! Note that the maximum savings per gallon you can use at Chevron stations is $0.20 per gallon. That's still a great savings!

PS. Sacramento folks, remember you can earn double gas rewards with the new Fast Forward card!

Del Taco Introduces 2 Awesome New Menus Including a Buck & Under Menu!

I'm always looking for a bargain on some quick eats. Del Taco ranks high on my list of favorite places to grab a quick meal. Their crunchy taco and bean & cheese burrito are simply delicious and satisfying! I was contacted with some exciting news from Del Taco about a new set of menus! One is the Buck & Under menu and the other is a New Tastes menu!

On the New Tastes menu, the Fiery 6 Layer Burrito looks incredible.

My favorite menu is the Buck & Under menu though. With items at $0.50, $0.75 and $1.00, this menu is perfect for those who are looking to save some money and still get some scrumptious food! I mean, they have a crunchy taco on the menu for $0.50! And a value burrito at the same price! When you tell me I can get 2 tacos and 2 burritos for $2, I'm a fan! They also have real strawberry lemonade for just $1!

Ok, I've ran on long enough about these awesome new Del Taco menus. But seriously, these menus are awesome.
