About

A little about us:  We are not stay at home mom couponers (not that there is anything wrong with that) like most of the authors of deal seeking blogs out there.  We are a couple in our 20s who just got married and have no kids!  We began couponing heavily in 2010 and have not looked back since.  And by “have not looked back” we mean we have not paid for toothpaste, deodorant, razors, air fresheners, shampoo, body wash, etc for years.  Once we researched coupons and deals and got out of CVS with $50 in merchandise for a net cost of -$2.50, we were hooked! We are saving our money for a down payment on a house. With the use of coupons, we will get there faster than we can imagine!

About this site:  There are a TON of frugal blogs out there. We want to make ours fun, easy to read and helpful. We encourage comments on our blog and our Facebook page. We love to run giveaways and contests! As the site becomes more popular, we will increase the frequency and reward amount of our contests! We will respond to your comments! We have access 24/7 to your comments, and take them seriously. We love when you comment and want to show you that by responding and answering any questions you have.

About Extreme Couponing: We are very much against the TLC show and everything it stands for. We are all for saving money, but not hoarding or shelf clearing. Just because someone can get 68 jars of mustard for free doesn’t mean they should. If you are here, or trying to learn how to coupon because of the show, we welcome you. Just know that we will not be using the tactics they use. The more people that act like those on the show, the harder it will be for us regular people to use coupons. The show has put an even bigger stigma on using coupons, as now people tend to look at good coupon users as “people from that show”. We urge you not to support the show.

  2. Nice job! I WAS the number one shopper at my CVS, then the cashier told me I went down to number two…..yep, beaten by a guy! Thanks for all your hard work!

Zack, this is awesome! I have been following those “mom” blogs for a while, but I too am a 27 year old without a family who just wants to save money. :) It is great to have someone on the West Coast, because I haven’t found as many great deals from those sites as I had hoped. I live in San Diego so it will be cool to follow you (post wedding) and see if I can up my savings! Thanks SO much!

  4. Thanks to your intelligence I look before spending. I gave my daughter a cash reward from Rite Aid so she could save money on her purchase.

  5. Thank you for the info on white strips from amazon.
