$2/2 Johnson & Johnson Coupon May Be Counterfeit

There is some buzz going on about this coupon and how it landed on the Coupon Information Corporation's website for counterfeit coupons.

MashupMom did a nice little write up on this and basically said exactly what I would have, so here's a link to her post! -----> Here!

I have deleted that coupon link from current weekly deal posts and I don't recommend attempting to use it anymore.

Here's a picture of what came up when I entered the code on my "counterfeit" coupon on the CIC Veri-Fi website:

I have a hard time believing mine is counterfeit when the exact same website that is calling these coupon counterfeit seems to be matching the barcode with a VALID coupon with the EXACT same information. Hmmmmm.

Anyway, thanks to some bum who wanted to photocopy tons of these, they will probably all be black-listed from stores.

Moral of the story: Don't misuse coupons, or let people get away with doing it. And, if it looks too good to be true, do some homework on it before using it to make sure everything is legit.

Don't want to end up like this!

  1. I already used mine last week at Rite Aid to buy carefree liners….oops
